Lady Gaga Honors Sister With Her Grammys Outfit

Lady Gaga honored her sister Natali Germanotta with her Grammys outfit.

At the 2022 Grammy Awards, Lady Gaga wore three distinct gowns, one of which was created by her sister Natali Germanotta.

The “Love For Sale” singer wore numerous old Hollywood elegance ensembles, one of which was crafted by her sister Natali Germanotta, for the 2022 Grammy Awards on April 3rd.

Gaga smiled for photographs in a customized dyed, mint green satin silk velvet gown from her sister’s Topo Studio design, after winning her 13th Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her second collaboration with Tony Bennett. Hand-ruched heart bodice and hand-stoned feathered capelet were also included.

“Thank you to topostudiony for handcrafting this gorgeous dress for me,” she expressed her gratitude on Instagram the day after the big event.

Gaga wore a one-shoulder, black and white Armani Privé gown with a panoramic train to the Grammys red carpet before changing into her sister’s creation. She wore delicate Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including a show-stopping Schlumberger Potager Leaves necklace from the Tiffany Blue Book Collection 2022, with her sweeping updo hairstyle.

For her jazzy tribute performance to Tony, the 36-year-old took the stage in a light green strapless Elie Saab Spring 2022 Haute Couture gown.

This was not the first time Gaga and her sister have worked together. Natali worked as Gaga’s stylist for years after graduating from New York City’s Parsons School of Design and aiding designer Brandon Maxwell. The 30-year-old also worked on Gaga’s 2018 film A Star Is Born’s costume department, as well as designing several extravagant stage outfits for the singer.

Gaga wore two Topo Studio outfits at a Livestream show in October: a sheer, dazzling nude gown embellished with feathers and a black velvet dress with a thigh-high slit and a gauzy belt.

Natali was even Gaga’s plus one at the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards, where the “Just Dance” singer received a Fashion Icon award, and the 2019 Oscars, where she alluded to her sister as her “soulmate” while receiving the Best Original Song award.

In 2017, Natali said to her sister on Instagram, “I am so extremely proud of you words can’t convey,” “I appreciate you always being an inspiration to me.” Everyone you come in contact with is affected by your love. I’ll always love you, sis.”
